How can I improve my multitasking abilities so that when I focus on a specific subject, others don’t decline in quality?

How can I distribute my effort across multiple difficult subjects in school without sacrificing the quality of my work or understanding

How can I dedicate time for work, school, and free time, without sacrificing quality for either of these categories if possible?

So far, I can yield optimal results academically, but I needed to sacrifice an extracurricular for that. Although I don't plan to do that same extracurricular, I want to replace the time I used for that extracurricular for a job.

As a future civil engineering student, what things should i prioritize or focus on the most in college (Grades, Internships, hands on projects) in order to be successful in the future after graduating? Which would have the longest term impact on careers and what did you wish you focused on more in school?

I am a high school senior and I want to study and go into civil engineering, I know there are a lot of specialties in the field so I'm excited to learn more about them. I've shadowed a civil engineer which helped me understand the job more and made me more curious about the projects they work on.

What does a strong first 6–12 months in an entry-level role actually look like in practice for people working in marketing, and what tends to separate someone who quickly gets trusted with bigger projects from someone who mainly stays in executional support work?

For context, I'm asking as an upcoming college graduate who wants to pursue marketing and has been looking for roles in any kind of marketing space: product, brand, influencer, etc.

What should a community college transfer student in computer engineering prioritize during the first year at a university to become competitive for internships: personal projects, research, networking, or upper-division coursework?

I am transferring from Diablo Valley College to UC Santa Cruz for computer engineering. I want to prepare well for internships and future career opportunities, but I am not sure whether I should focus more on coursework, personal projects, research, networking, or applying to internships early.
