I need some tips on my current career plan. Help please?
Sorry for the radio silence! I totally forgot to check back here, but I’ve been busy finalizing my roadmap. I’m 16 now (March 22) and fully committed to becoming a Creative Director and a business owner. I actually pivoted from my original business idea to focus on building a cohesive brand instead. Right now, I’m grinding through dual enrollment at Chaffey College to knock out my GEs and my AA-T in Studio Art while I'm still in high school. My plan is to transfer to CSUSB for a BFA in Design with a minor in Business Administration to get that management foundation. After that, I’m aiming for UCLA or another top UC to get my Master’s (MFA). To make this happen without debt, I’m planning to join the Air National Guard as a Public Affairs Specialist. This will let me serve in California while the state pays for my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. I’d love to hear your thoughts: Do these schools align well with a career in Creative Direction? Also, for those who have served, do you have any tips on balancing a BFA workload with the National Guard? #Spring26
What is the hardest part of pursuing an engineering career at University of California campus?
I am currently a Senior, taking AP Physics 2 and Calculus but am not sure what to expect from pursuing this career.
Are M.D./Ph.D. (neuroscience specifically) programs worth it ?
I'm currently a high school senior. I already committed to a college and I'll be majoring in neurobiology but I wanted to get some advice from others to see if an M.D./Ph.D. program after undergrad is the way to go (or if just getting an M.D. is better) so that I can start preparing for it. I know I want to become a neurosurgeon and that I definitely do want to do research before residency.
IB vs. AP (whats better)?
In California, what difference would it make for me to be studying under an IB-Diploma program or an equivalent AP program? For UC? For other universities?

B.A. in Psychology + Associates in Business Management
Hi! Currently, I am obtaining an Associates's degree in Business Management from my community college before transferring into a university for a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. I see that in the United States, people are especially discouraging of Psychology undergraduates in a business field. A lot of people would say to switch for a Bachelors in Business instead and get an Associates's in Psychology, which I do not plan on doing because I love my current placements. I have heard and read from many people that Psychology majors are deemed useful only within clinical and social works. If I were to take the path in those aspects, I am mainly interested in becoming a college academic advisor/counselor. However, I have put it in my best interest and am very determined to find myself a career in the business field after I graduate. I want to ask what is the REALITY of someone with a BA in Psychology and Associates in Business Management to be offered great positions in the business fields. What are some jobs and careers can I be qualified for with these degrees? What is something you would recommend me to do in order to gain experience or expose me to the works of psychology and business as an undergrad? Please give me any additional advice or information you think would be helpful too!
