As a black woman, the job search is already difficult but I’m trying to get internships and not landing any due to inexperience. Any advice on getting the skills needed to land tech roles?

I currently have a job and would just like to know how much I would be looking at spending during the first year so I can try and save towards it in case I don't keep the job I currently have after a couple of months.

Why do we need to have the jobs that make us so sad and confused?

This doesn't need to be specifically biomedical engineering, but it can include any type of engineering. I am a very social person and I fear that there isn't much social interaction occurring within the field.
