What sort of issues could I run into with getting a job with a major in government and politics while federal jobs are being cut? Could this still impact me for my graduation year in 2028?

I am somewhat worried that after I graduate from college, I will have issues with finding a job for myself amid federal job cuts. This issue is also prevalent in my family, since my father was cut from his job in the state department.
