US Air Force Veteran - Dad - Application Security Solutions Engineer
I graduated high school and went straight into the Air Force as a Cyber Systems Administrator. I started in a position where I supported the Intelligence community by securing Secret and Top Secret networks and backing up High Altitude imagery and Full Motion Videos.
After a few years doing this, I moved into a career supporting an F-16 wing where I managed databases, networks and communications systems ranging from Base Security to Authority to Operate packages. I found this environment to be wonderful for me as I was able to work with squadrons that were ensuring building security, answering 911 fire emergencies, looking at weather patterns for flight safety, encrypting radio communications, automating account creation, and pretty much anything under the sun.
Based upon my love for interacting with people, I left the military and became a Solutions Engineer where I could help customers during the Pre-Sales process. In this role, I can help organizations adopt new technologies and support my Sales team in reaching their goals. I get to speak to many people from all sorts of backgrounds and see all sorts of new technologies.
I am energized by empowering others and I look to help in my community either by volunteering with food drives, working to develop housing, or here answering your questions.
