I am struggling to find a career path that I know I will be happy pursuing. Finding a job that pays well is very important to me but I also want to he happy.
How do I figure out what I want my career to be?
I’m a rising junior in high school and I know I have time to figure it out, but I want to make my college experience meaningful. I want to pick a good college for whatever I want to major in. I also don’t want to lose a bunch of time or money from switching majors or anything like that.
Does it just come to you on what you want to do with the rest of you life like deciding at 17 what major to spend money on and where may I ask how you came to that decision ?
I know I would like to help people and have a passion for that but I am not certain how to proceed with that. I am on the human service pathway at my school right now and may be interested in teaching , child life specialist , occupational therapy and am willing to explore anything !

How did you find what you wanted to do in college or how did you find the major you wanted to do when you went to college?
I just want to know the right way to find my major and from different people perspective on how they chose there major and career path.
What is a major? What majors are there?
I’m a high school student and I don’t know what career path I want to pursue. But I would like to get to know the majors and at least want to have some in mind so I can do research and get ride some so I can pick a major.
What are some things I should try so I can get a better idea of what career I want to pursue?
No matter what I do, I know my goal in life is a career that allows me to help people, not just something corporate if it comes to that.
