How can teenagers realistically portray adults when acting?

All of my actors will be high schoolers, who will be portraying adults. How can I sell the idea to distributors such as Tubi, even though adult characters are being played by teens.
How much does your physical appearance matter in the entertainment industry?
It seems most advertising/media features people with bodies that don't represent the general public. I know every person is different, but one body type seems to be the dominant factor. For women and girls, the media believes they should be thin and pretty. For men and boys, they need to be very muscular. If I, (and frankly a lot of other people) don't live up to these expectations, would I not be financially successful in this industry? #acting #actor #body-image
