How does the student manage their time with studying and sports and college life?

I am a senior and will be a freshman for the 26/27 year. I plan to major in business and I just want to know how different college is from high school.

Is this a smart degree choice? What am I able to do with this degree?

I am currently looking to start my associates degree in nursing at a community college, and I need this advice to be able to plan my future career or even decide which path I have to take.
