If your major was criminal justice and you graduated with a bachelor’s degree, what was your first job in the field? Do you feel that the pay has been enough to support yourself? I’m feeling a bit nervous because I’ve heard from many people that it can be difficult to succeed in this field. I’m really looking for reassurance and insight into how you got started, how you made it work financially, and whether there is room for growth and advancement over time.
I want to major in accounting or business accounting. Should I get into a state university or UCS ?
I applied to UCD, UCB, UC Merced, and UCSD for UCS. And for the State University, I applied to SF, SJ, LA, and Long Beach.
How can I submit the best possible recommendation letters to colleges like UC Berkeley?
I have just received an email from UC Berkeley asking me for some recommendation letters. I'm not quite sure who to ask for those. I asked my internship supervisor, and she'll write me one. For the second one, I had this tecaher i had a good relationship with, but she retired and just has a regular email, not the SFUSD email. Does it matter that I send this request for the letter even though she doesn't have a school email? Will college admission officers see this wierd?
I’m wanting to do Winterguard after high school, but also Marine Science/Biology. The school that will help me do Marine Science/Biology is 2-3 hours from home, preventing me from accessing any nearby Winterguards for me to participate in. What are some way I can do both? #Fall25
