Is it necessary to be in a pre-medicine program during undergraduate school in order to attend medical school?
I am not enrolled for pre-medicine at my university, so I wanted to know if this would hurt my chances of getting admitted into medical school. #doctor #medicine #healthcare #pre-med
What is the hardest interview question you've been asked and how did you answer it?
Also, did you get the job?
Is spending more than a decade in college worth it to become a doctor? Is it possible to shorten that amount of time??
Spending so long in college is the one thing that makes me question if I want to be a doctor, more specifically a dermalogist because what would I be learning that would take 12 years to master? Also, others the same age with me would already have jobs.
How does a doctor get into and afford medical school?
I feel like medical school is very expensive so how would a doctor be able to cover the costs without going into massive debt. How hard do you have to work to get into medical school?
What is your best advice for someone looking to apply to medical school in the next few years?
Hi! I am a rising sophomore and I am looking for advice on applying to med school.
When do I begin studying for the MCAT?
I just finished my first year as an undergraduate student. I'm majoring in biochemistry and minoring in psychology. I know these two fields are very helpful for the MCAT. (I am very interested in those fields as well, so it was not the only reason I chose them.) When did you begin studying for...
Applying to Med School as a Low Income Student?
I know that the general advice for premed students is to keep undergraduate debt low, since the cost of applying can be thousands to begin with. I don't have concerns about having undergrad debt because of my school's generous financial aid (I get school grants, Pell Grants, work study, etc.)....

Why become a doctor v.s. a nurse or even a physician assistant?
Any tips, advice, or guidance would be extremely helpful. It would also be nice to hear anyone's own experience on why they made their decision.
If I'm certain(fairly) that I want to become a physician, should I attend a 7 year program(combines college + med school) as opposed to a 4 year college and having to apply again for med school?
For reference, I am a rising junior in high school.

What makes DO's and MD's different?
I went into college thinking I was going to become an MD but I have recently been looking into becoming a DO (Doctor of Osteopathy). I know that the schooling is relatively the same but I am curious to know the distinctions between them other then the teachings of osteopathic medicine being...
Is it harder for D.O.'s to get the same respect as M.D.'s?
I've recently become interested in #osteopathic #medicine. The philosophy of treating patients as a whole instead of just symptoms appeals to me. However, I've heard that it may be hard for D.O.'s to find residencies that are not biased. I hadn't even heard of D.O.'s until a year ago,...
