What is the best way to start prepping for med school? Would it be building clinical hours and experience? And how do I set myself apart from the crowd of other people applying for med school?

I am a college freshman, and really want to begin clinical experience, but I am so confused on where to start. I have always liked dermatology since high school, especially the cosmetic side, so I would love some input on where to begin.

Ever since I was young I have always been interested in doing ballet but due to financial issues I never could have. I also really interested in doing pre-med but I don't think I'll be able to do ballet. What do I do?
