Why is it so hard to get a scholarship?
Hi, I'm a high school senior and I am going to college for a music education degree. I love band. Would like to teach kids to love music too. I come from a low-income family and really need scholarships. I find it hard to get one. I applied to hundreds of scholarships and only received one and that's because whoever applied got one. I am thankful for it but can really use the help to how to figure out to get more scholarships. I volunteer a lot with the veterans Home in my community bringing them music every month and I also go to a rehab center in my community to bring them music. I also feed the homeless once a month. I love my community and would like to bring music to it in my way.
How do you avoid burnout as an Elementary Teacher?
I often hear teachers complain about the struggles of teaching? I have also worked with teachers who often say how exhausted they are, and how hard it is to keep going, I am interested on how to avoid this.
What should I major in as an aspiring English Professor?
As someone who would like to be a high school english teacher or college english professor, I am interested in the science of learning. Would it be helpful to double major in psychology and secondary english education? I want to learn more about the workings of the mind and how people learn things, but am not sure if psychology is the right path to achieving this.

What Colleges in California have majors in education?
I'm currently in 10th grade and have to make a college list. While searching for colleges I have mainly only seen colleges have such majors for masters degrees, etc. I want to teach elementary aged children and want to know how to go around that in regard to the degrees I need.
