About

I am an actuary - a professional who studies risk, e.g. to design insurance products.

I work for a large professional services firm . Most of the professionals I work with are accountants, but there are many other professionals who work with me as well. For example - actuaries, lawyers, consultants and computer-programmers.

I was a mathematics and economic double major in college. I have always enjoyed analytical problem solving.

I live in Brookline, Massachusetts near Boston. I also spend a lot of time in Norway, Maine - especially in the summer. My family lives all over the country - Maine, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Missouri, Virginia and Delaware. I have traveled to many places around the United States and the world, but not yet into outer-space.

I have professional credentials including being a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. I earned my bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College. I graduated from Springfield High School (Delco) in Pennsylvania.
