I want to know where to start first and who to make connections with. I feel like internships are important but I'm not sure what exactly I should be shooting for. My college is close to New York City which opens up a lot of opportunities. #film #college #career-path #writing #tv

For example, my major is going to be biology, but I can't decide whether I want my focus to be genetics, ecology, or environmental sciences. What are any tips to decide which would be best fitted for me? #college-major

I am entering an associate program for dental hygiene. I know that working in a clinic eventually takes a physical toll on the body so I don't plan to do it for my entire professional career. Does it make sense to pursue a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene after working as a hygienist for a...

Ever since I was little, I wanted to go into the medical field. I have enjoyed job shadows, but what if medicine isn't the right fit for me even though I have wanted it all my life? #doctor #medical-field #medicine #medschool #healthcare

I would consider myself decently smart, but not when it comes to standardized tests. I appreciate tests that my teachers make because if I am proficient in the topic, the grade will show. Standardized tests like, the AP exams, the SAT, and the Regents exams in New York are extremely stressful...

While updating my LinkedIn and looking at other people's profiles today, I want to know what background picture is appropriate and unique for my profile. I saw people putting a backdrop of their schools and cities. However, are those the only acceptable pictures? #career-counseling #linkedin...

I’m curious as to what different kinds of jobs can come from studying communications in college. #communications #college

I have been doing research on different majors and am conflicted on how to decide on a field to study during college. I would appreciate advice and tips that anyone has to offer! #College

I am currently an accounting major in college, but recently participating in a leadership conference, my interest in becoming a fraud examiner was re-sparked. However, a lot of the websites I came across only vaguely said to major in a fraud examination related major. Thus, I was wondering what...
