I want to be a certified public accountant (CPA) in New York at either a big four or a Fortune 500 company.

Context: N/A
College: I am currently a freshman in St John's University on the five-year BS/MS accounting program. With this program I will receive both Bachelor's and Master's in five years which will satisfy the 150 hours requirement for the CPA exam. Additionally, as of now I am considering a minor or double major in either Chinese (Asian Studies) or Informational Systems (something computer related).
Other Education: As mentioned above, I plan to obtain my Master's at St. John's University.
Activities: My activities currently include: Student Government Inc (Research & Development and Student Services Committee), National Association of Black Accountant (NABA), ISACA/IIA Organization, Habitat for Humanity, Chinese Cultural Association
Job Experience: My job experiences include working at a law firm where I am tasked with utilizing Quickbooks and Casefox to organize data and statements. I had also previously worked as a researcher in the Queens Historical Museum where I organized artifacts using a database system. From this point on, I am hoping to obtain an accounting internship for the summer. This experience can give me a better understanding of what to expect when I do get a job and simply explore my choices.
Soft Skills: Some soft skills I consider myself to have are time management, self-motivation, team-working skills, observant, and strong work ethics.
Hard Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, QuickBooks, Facebook, & Tumblr Fluent in Cantonese and English, Limited Proficiency in Mandarin, Spanish, & Latin
Other: I have the intention to study abroad in hope of improving my people/communication skills as well as learn from other culture's business operation. #computer-science #computer-software
