I've heard of "Mickey Mouse" degrees (degrees that are useless and makes you realize that you spent 4 years of your life doing nothing) and want to learn more about them. Everybody knows that women's studies is pretty useless, but are there anymore "Mickey Mouse" degrees colleges give out? I...

Hey y'all. I'm a junior who moved into a new school who'll have a block schedule next year (senior year). I have the opportunity to graduate early since I'm ahead compared to most of my peers. What are the pros and cons of graduating early, like mid-year? Will colleges like that or they think...

So many sources say that all you need is a high school diploma to be able to work as a bookkeeper, howeve, anywhere I have looked most ask for 3-5 years of experience. I have taken (2 courses) accounting principals in financial and managerial accounting and plan to pursue a bachelors in...

College should be #free for everyone. If the world is focusing on a better society, # education should be free.

I am asking this question because certain institutions offer one or the other and I was wondering if they are the same degree essentially (or is there a difference). I would love to hear from professionals from both sides. I am interested in becoming an accountant and I would like to choose a...

I have taken interest to major in accounting. I hear many things on how women are discriminated against in certain career fields and majors. For example, not many engineers are women, or doctors should be men. Both of which statements that I disagree with. That leads me to ask about how are...

I am asking because I may have various options in the coming years when I begin to decide about graduate school. #graduate-school #graduate-programs #school-psychology #psychology-graduate

I want to be a school psychologist, because it involves my three biggest passions: children, learning, and psychology. I ask this question because I have heard that in some instances, school psychologists that work in school systems are only able to administer tests, but are not able to provide...

I am asking this question because I do not want to start looking for colleges/scholarship applications too late.

#Scholarship advice

I am asking this question because I want to plan ahead for my future in my freshman year instead of procrastinating. The more scholarship applications I can complete, the more of a chance of getting scholarships or colleges seeking me.

My two biggest passions in life are music and technical theatre. Because most people in the theatre tech/design world aren't on salary or have a fixed work schedule, I'm curious to know if I could handle being a performing musician as well. In a small, community orchestra (trumpet player). I've...

I'm majoring technical theatre and design in college, which is my passion. I'd like to know what my options are, for a career. I do scenic design, but it isn't what I'd want to spend my life doing. I like the idea of having a higher position in the performing theatre. Perhaps, overseeing the...

At my college, 90% of #engineering classes are based on #theory. A common belief is that you will only end up using a tiny portion of all that knowledge once you reach the workplace, and instead employees end up learning most their skills on the job. This makes the burden of college seem...

I love #engineering but my high school failed to adequately prepare me for most of the engineering courses I have had to take in college. Instead, I'm good at reading books and writing essays that analyze them, but I hate doing that. So, I am struggling through engineering in order to round out...

I am also interested in becoming a kinesiologist. I am thinking of double-majoring in college.
