I'm trying to figure out a back-up plan from being a librarian, and I think archiving would be perfect for me. However, I'm trying to find niche/lesser-known duties of that career to see if I truly would enjoy all parts of it. Thanks!

When heading into a history-focused career, were there things that didn't make sense that should have or that should've been explained better to students?

I'm looking into history majors and wanted some advice on what classes I should and should not invest in to stay on track.

I am a junior in high school interested in psychology, criminal justice, art, and history. I am not sure which one in particular to be honest, but I'm not sure whether I should be seeking volunteer hours, a job, or an internship. I already am in some honors societies (NAHS & NHS) which I get...

My goal has always been to become a teacher and work with students but much of the advice I have received says that it is not wise for a long term career. This is something that I am willing to do anyway because it is a passion of mine but I do wonder if there are or will be any advancement...

My major allows me to work in either environments but I’m curious to know what each is like. Which has better benefits short-term and long-term?

When applying for high school history teacher jobs, what are schools specifically looking for in candidates? I want to work at an inner city school, what experiences and qualifications do schools in cities look for?

What is the best classroom management technique? I've seen educators calmly gather the attention of the classroom and I would like to know how. I am currently substitute teaching to gain experience but sometimes the classroom gets out of my control, and it sure is a struggle to get it back....
