I live in rural Indiana, so the cost of living is not nearly as high as areas like California or New York, etc.

My first well-paying job was at a machine shop which specializes in turbines and pumps. So, naturally, I fell in love with the manufacturing industry; however, I have always had interest in government. I thought how I could connect my two interests and a career in the environmental seemed like...

#chemistry I really enjoy learning chemistry, but I'm afraid it will get boring.

My mom was a teacher and always had summers off so it is important that my future kids be able to spend time with me. #forensics

I often use up all of the ink in my highlighters because I highlight everything in my notes and textbooks. What can I do to decide what I should be highlighting and underlining? #highlight

When assigned at-home readings, I often forget most of what I read by the time I have my next class. #textbook

we dont get told anything about scholarships, applying, anything #college

Im using a couple scholarship websites like fastweb and cappex, but it sends a lot of scholarships that do not apply to me. #scholarships

When I took AP Psychology, it was a merit course that could result in college credit. However, while not all of our work was from a book, most of it was. I am more of a hands on learner, and I was curious as to if I could expect to learn hands on in a college atmosphere. #psychology...

I would like to work with a non-profit organization, but am also interested in starting my own. However, I'm not sure how realistic that is given that grant money or loans may be scarce. #nonprofits #non-profit #non-profits

In many parts of the world there is an extreme shortage of nutritious food and simultaneously very little practice of environmentally sustainable agriculture. A non-profit organization specialized in farming could perhaps kill two birds with one stone. #nonprofits #agriculture #public-health...

I have greatly enjoyed volunteering with non-profit organizations and love working with a student lead environmentalist club I helped found. I think organizing events and community activities, etc, is something I want to continue in the future, but I'm not sure non-profit management would...

I would like to work with a nonprofit in the future (because I have enjoyed volunteer work with non profit organizations) but would much rather learn the skills through experience than through a major. #non-profit

I like the topic of sociology and am interested in the well being of the community at large, but am unsure of how I might apply this degree. #sociology #political-science #nonprofits
