What skills can I or should I learn to prepare for a potential career in tech in a world where AI is doing so much of people's work?

I would like to learn about the current landscape and salary levels in the computer industry.

I'm unsure whether I should continue pursuing that major or choosing another? If you think I should choose another, which would you recommend?
