Is becoming a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner "worth" it in your opinion?

What are some good jobs to have in college? Looking for well-paying, secure job market, and something I'm able to balance with classes and other commitments.
What do I do
I just graduated from high school, and I'm kinda lost what I want to do for a career, as I've always loved helping people and animals. I am not sure if I have enough money to afford this. And other than that, I don't know what I genuinely enjoy doing for a living.

Is it a real degree I can get? or is it like "I'm an English major with a focus in folklore?"

folklore is awesome, so I'd like to study it, but I've also heard its not a stable job.

Id love to have a job I truly enjoy, so I'm split between becoming an MD or pursuing a career in video games.
