How much of trading has or soon will be fully automated?
I know that high-frequency trading has been completely adopted by investment banks and at least a large chunk of the investing world as a whole, but I was wondering how much of the decisions still remain to the traders. Since hedge funds hold portfolios instead of strictly dealing with stocks, how much of it is becoming automated? I'm interested in the career prospect because I am fascinated with markets and want to become a part of it, but I don't want to simply become a computer scientist creating algorithms and not actually getting my "hands dirty." #trading #market-trading #finance

How to transition from a tax accountant to management consulting?
I have worked as a tax preparer for 6 years at a small boutique accounting firm. My experience includes small business consultation from company registration to licensing to dissolution. Is there a profession that involves professional gambling or the study/art of gambling?
I ask this question because I have always been intrigued by the game Roulette. I have recently learned of a technique that drastically increases my likelihood of winning. This led me to think about whether other individuals have learned techniques to increase their wins when gambling to the point where they have been able to make a profession out of it.
I am interested in Global Climate change. What career can revolve around trying to find ways to tackle this issue?
I find global warming so interesting. I would like to find ways to find ways to give clean water to third world countries and I'm interested in food hunger and how to prevent it. I think that using cattle as one of our main food sources is so ineffective. I want a job where I can go visit these countries and find ways to improve these people lives. I would also like to help in Chinas air quality pollution, for it's terrible to see that people are dying for this reason. #environment #water #climate-change
