What are some tips and tricks for a student going to college and wanting to graduate college?
I'm a 12th grade student graduating this year and going off to a 4 year college to earn my Bachelor's of Science degree for Interpreting American Sign Language major. I will be staying on campus, but I need some tips and tricks on how to pass college without failing.
What is the number one thing I need to plan for when attending college?
College is very confusing to me. There's a lot of things that I don't understand and I feel overwhelmed sometimes. I try to focus on things based off of priority, so I am really curious to know what to pay attention to the most.
What should I be looking for in a college? Should I go to college based on scholarships, or interesting opportunities? Are there any programs I should be looking for?
I am looking for conservation based field work opportunities and applying to colleges like Michigan State and the University of Chicago.
Should I live on campus or commute?
I live about an hour away from the college I would like to attend. I am caught in between if I should live there or commute. Some days my classes start as early as 7 am. I do not mind driving and I feel like it would be doable to drive. Living there also has its perks. Any advice/pros or cons...
