I want to be a cardiothoracic surgeon when I grow up. I think it is the coolest field of career and I would love to know more about it. #doctor #surgery #hospital #cardiothoracic

I am trying to decide if I should ask about going for my doctorate next fall. I am currently working on my masters and taking the same courses as a PhD student in optical sciences would. I am trying to assess the benefits of getting my masters if my plan is to eventually get a PhD in the same...

I am new to the industry and trying to compare what I make to what other Optical Engineering Technicians make. I work in an optics lab assembling and testing lenses, among other things. This is not the eye glasses technician! #engineering #optical #financial-planning

I'll be starting nursing school (hopefully) in about a year from now. I've heard it's incredibly rough and will challenge me in ways I never have been challenged before. During times when you felt hopeless or like you would never make it out alive, what did you do/tell yourself? How did you...

I know nursing is for me, but I've always been worried about the emotional strain this career may have on me. By nature I like to think I am a caring person and its not uncommon for me to get emotionally invested in people quickly. I'm afraid that interacting with those who are in pain or in a...
