How can I get a research internship this summer?

I'm currently in a high school junior in Brooklyn, NY. I would like to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for mechanical or chemical engineering. Are there any good websites I can learn some of this stuff on my own, potentially creating something in my high school career?

Communication Technology vs Electrical Engineering?

As a freshman in college, I have a GPA of 3.5 and got mostly B's in math. I have experience with technology (like basic coding) but not engineering in high school. Two majors at my school are Communication Technology (CT) and Electrical Engineering (EE). CT contains classes in digital media production, coding, business, and telephones/electricity. EE contains topics like physics, math, science, and making electronics. The reason why I'm interested in these two is I want a good paying job where I can make enough money to travel, yet where I can pursue my interests in creating stuff. I've always felt intimidated by engineering, because you do alott of math. Yet, I heard you can become a theatre engineer and acoustics or sound engineer! I like that there's so much careers you can do in CT but Idk many people with this career. Anyone have advice? Can I enter EE without any experience? Can CT be good?

Can you tell me about engineering and or psychology?

I'm stuck between the two at the moment and I'm struggling to choose which one I want to do, on one hand I like engineering and the design aspect of it. But on the other hand I'm very interested in psychology, I want to help people. Is there any way my interests can branch off to maybe something like art therapy? Or is there a way I can learn more about the fields to make my final decision?

How are you guys and what would you guys like to be in the future?

I want to be an engineer, I have had a deep passion for it ever since I have gotten my first cellular technical device. I want to be able to properly enjoy life and live it to the fullest with a job I like. Engineering could be a hard to obtain job, but in my opinion it really stands out to be and I'm willing to work hard for it. I hope that maybe in the future I would be able to properly earn it through hardwork.
