What should I do after graduating high school?
I have no idea if I should go to college after I graduate high school. I have some college credits through dual enrollment, with one of them being an intro to engineering credit. I enjoy engineering and programming but I also love music and art. The biggest part of my decision right now is money because I don't exactly come from a rich family... I feel like I'm taking a gamble if I make a choice.
Does it really matter where you go to college?
I plan to major in piano and voice performance with a minor in psychology, and then start private music lessons. Does it matter where I go to college, or should I try to get into one that is more prestigious in the realm of music performance? I kind of want to go to a Christian college that is closer to home, but obviously they aren't really known for music performance so I'm just wondering what I should do.
How can I get started with making music?
I'm a freshman in HS & I want to pursue music production as a possible career in college, does anyone know how I can get an early start on that? I love music, specifically rap (hip-hop & R&B too), and I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites that I could get started on with making beats. I'm a fast learner, but since it would be my first time experimenting, beginner-friendly websites would be preferred :) Also if anyone has tips/knows any good YouTube channels that discuss this topic, that would be greatly appreciated!

Should I give up my passion?
I have two passions only. Making Art and making Music. I am a graphic design student who is doing pretty well in college and juggling my Art and Music passions. I am pretty good at both of my passions. Lately someone told me that I should focus only on one passion. There are some youtube videos and articles that supports my situation and says that it's great thing two have two passions or even more and there are some youtube videos and articles that says that you should have only one passion and put all your focus on it. There is a kinda famous artist/musician called Jack Stauber who i stumbled upon lately who is juggling the same two passions of mine in addition to animation, sculpture, stop motion, many different musical instruments, singing, songwriting, and many more. he majored in Marketing . And there is also Caroline konstnar who is ballet dancer, artist, singer, comedian, actor, content creator. My question is should I give up on one of my passions and focus only on one, which is something that I don't wanna do. Or be like these two musician/artist examples and embrace my two passions through content creation by making music and making art for my music or making music and making animation for my music just like they do. Thank You

Can music be a good career path for me?
I've been interested in music in one way or another as long as I can remember. I love listening to hip-hop, jazz, rnb, etc. as well as I love playing it. My dad is the one who introduced music to me early in life. He would always play the bass and drums. I have my share in a few instruments such as tenor saxophone, guitar, coungas, bongos, drums, piano, and bass. Guitar and piano are my personal favorites. I also have an uncle who produces his own music as well as play it in a band. I'm currently stuck in a fork in the road for deciding my careers. Do you think I should set both my feet into the music industry? Why should I or shouldn't? #music #musician #singer #music-industry #music-production

am i cut out for music?
I love music and i have always loved music since I was a little girl. So I joined the band in the 6th grade and enjoyed it until now. Now it's so technical which i'm not used too. For these past few years in concert band i have been naturally flowing with the music without sub-dividing rhythms or even keeping time. I've just naturally know how the rhythm goes and when to stop and start. im currently failing band and ive recently decided to drop out for the next semester. i really want to have a career as a musician because it's my passion but am i meant to do it? #music #musician #music-industry #music-industry #music-performance #vocalist
