How do students stay up to date with scholarships and if they have won one or not? How do traditional students-athletes change to the life of college athletics?

Sports are a huge part of my life and I am not me without them. I also have an interest in psychology so I plan to have a minor in that.

How am I going to be able to afford college?

My family is stable, but we don't have the opportunity to fork out money for school. I have a job, but only part time, and I don't save as much as I would like. If I'm not able to get scholarships or grants what do I do? I really don't want to take out loans.

How do I get a job while still being involved in sports and volunteer work?

For context, I live in a small town with arguably no where to work except for fast food restaurants. I am 17 and I have experience working in a kitchen but i’m afraid i won’t get any hours when I can’t work past 9 and my practices end at 6pm. I also have sport events on Saturdays normally.
