My vocation is engineering. In my free time, I enjoy playing music, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities. I was employed for over 30 years with the same company; that is probably rare these days. Upon retirement, I did some consulting with other companies. I continue to follow activities in the commercial vehicle industry, particularly in regard to fuel consumption and new fuel options, and authonomous control of vehicles.
During my engineering career, I held a "Professional Engineer" license in the stste of Indiana. Late in my career, I qualified to hold a CDL to operate commercial vehicles. I have been a long-time member of Society of Automotive Engineers.
