Hello! I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on which high school and or college courses could be best for me to take if I wanted to go into a career in pharmaceuticals, as next year I begin high school and want to make my chances as high as possible for getting into a good school...

I plan to major in neuroscience, and I want to be as prepared for it as I can be. I have been warned that it is a very challenging major and will require a lot of work. That being said, I want to know if there's anything else I should be aware of going into it.

I'm planning to major in neuroscience, and I'm curious what people think the best part of being a neuroscientist is. However, I am also curious what people think the worst part is, because nothing is perfect. There are always bits people don't like - for anything, not just neuroscience - and...

I am currently deciding on what I want to choose to be my career path as I am becoming a senior this august, I am in a program where I will be graduating with my high school diploma and my associates in Arts. I really enjoy working with children and I don't want to be a nurse, my other option...

I am asking about ethnicity because I am a white, female, however, I have Cherokee Indian on my grandfather's side of the family. I have no idea how to prove it; or what route to take. Is it even needed? Would it help getting admitted as a mixed ethnicity? #Cherokee #admitme #financial-aid...

I am asking this because it seems that everyone has their own opinion. Some folks say schools are looking for that all-around student and others proclaim to only want the cream of the crop as far as academics. I will be a freshman in 2019 and I'm still deciding what to shoot for, in terms...

I was told by a fellow student that if I took the Praxis Exam in an area unrelated to my major, which is History Education, that I could be qualified in that area also. I am asking this because I was wondering if I could take the math portion of the test as well. If I then passed the math...

I am transferring from a community college to a four year college. I have completed an Associates Degree so I have my general education prerequisites completed. Upon transferring to a four year college next year, I am not able to transfer into the History Education Department until I take one...

I am interested in computers and art. I like art and designing things with the use of computers. I was told that I should major in New Media Design. I have never heard of this major before so I am unsure of what kind of jobs that it would qualify me for. I am also unsure of how I could...

This is my ultimate career goal but I not sure of the best school path to follow. I want to have a professional certification so that it will be recognized by any potential employer. I want to fulfill this goal by going to a four year college. #computer-animation

I am currently in Dental Hygiene school in North Carolina. I am about to start my second year of the program, and will graduate in 2019. When I graduate, I plan to move to either Massachusetts or Rhode Island (somewhere close to the state lines). North Carolina is one of the stricter states,...

I can get into Harvard level schools but I'm not sure the cost is worth it. Would a state school be good enough? #ivyleague

I love music and would major in music performance but it most likely won't make enough for me to eat.#whattodo

#college-decisions #prestigious-university #connections I am trying to decide where to go to college and I got accepted into a prestigious public university and a another university that is not as prestigious. I wanted to know if I choose the university that is not as prestigious, will I...

I would like to major in conservation biology or wildlife biology, but it seems like a very difficult field to become employed in, and I was planning on minoring in psychology because I am interested in behavior and thought it would compliment a biology degree. However, would it be better to...

I have always been interested in and enjoyed traveling, and would like to pursue a career in conservation or wildlife biology. What careers in that field, if any would involve frequent traveling? #conservation #nature-conservation #wildlife-conservation #wildlife-conservation...

I'm stuck between two good colleges in North Carolina and I told my parents I would wait to decide until I got to see them both in person. But I'm not sure what questions to ask or what to look for. #college #college-advice #college-selection

I know that most colleges want you to have a minor if you major in Psychology and I know for sure that I want to major in that, but I have no idea what I should minor in. #psychology #college #college-major

I plan on obtaining a graduate degree in the medical profession. These graduate programs generally require shadowing of medical professions. #medical-education #medicine #college

I am currently a senior in high school and am interested in the medical profession, specifically working with children. I have been admitted into college and want to know more about my future. #medical-practice

I want to pursue a degree in conservation biology or wildlife biology, and have been told by previous professionals that I should keep my grades up in science math classes. While I enjoy and excel in my science classes, I am not as good at math. I am able to maintain an A or high B in all math...

I previously wanted a degree in wildlife biology, but after I further explored my interests I became more intrigued with the conservation aspects of biology rather than the scientific aspect. It's also come to my attention that Conservation Biology is a fairly knew major, and I was wondering...

Like many people, I have always longed for the day that I would become a legal adult. I mean, as a child it always seemed like a fantasy land. Who did not want to make their own rules? I know that I did. But in five short months, I will be moving out and turning eighteen in the span of one...

I am interested in a lot of subjects (math, science, English, music), but how do I know which one to pursue as a career?
