I've always been interested in working in the criminal world, I'm just trying to find a work base good for that but I need help with finding careers in that field that interest me.

What schooling do I have to do to become a CSI? Do I have to go to college and if so how many years? Or can I go to trade school, tctc, high school diploma, or something else? I am planning on going to college and would like to know how long I have to go for.

What does an average day as a CSI look like? Is there a mix between long days and short days or is it generally the same every day? Do I get to work on criminal cases or something different? I am very interested on what a work day would look like as a CSI.
