How do I find babysitting jobs?

I am going into 9th grade. I love to be around little kids. I do not have many people to babysit for, though. My parents do not want me to put up flyers because they don't want me to be going into other people's homes.

How is the work schedule like for anesthesiologists and what does their daily routine look like?

I have always wanted to be in the medical feild for as long as I could remember. For a long period of time I was really interested in becoming a surgeon but as I got older I didn't eel it was right for me and while watching tv series and talking with my mom I learned more about anesthesiologists. It seems very interesting at on tv shows its portrayed as a really laid back job at times based off of greys anatomy. On that show people were doing crossword puzzles during surgery, does this really happen? I was also wondering what major I might need to take in college? #majors #work-life-balance #anesthesiologist #working-with-children #daily-life #career-details

Do you think there needs to be more investigation when doing CPS

I'm an adopted child, along with my twin brother, who's special needs and I found out not too long ago that there are actually a lot of adopted and foster kids in my area. But, not all are in a loving caring home like I am. I feel like I should step in, give back to the kids and make a change in their lives before its too late. #child-development #working-with-children #child-care #children #career-choice #career-path

Is there anyone who likes being a social worker? If so, what about it do you like?

I’m passionate about helping kids overcome obstacles and I’ve had a bit of experience taking care of and being the head organizer of activities for a family whose kids who are pretty messed up because of their parents and who have had a brush with the system. Everyone I’ve talked to who is a social worker says they hate it and wish they did something different. Will I end up bitter like they are? Is it just a really really really hard field where no one stays for too long or have I just not found any good people to talk to? I’m kind of discouraged. #socialwork #working-with-children

What classes should I take in high school to be a child life specialist?

I’m currently a sophomore in high school and I want to be a child life specialist. I’m not sure what to study in college or what AP classes would be helpful. I’m currently enrolled in principles of education and training where I will eventually work with preschool aged kids and am in a health science class and previously took medical terminology. Also, are there any jobs in hospitals that a high school student could work? Are there any programs in the Houston area for training CCLS’s? College recommendations. I know this is a lot for a sophomore but really, thank you so much. :)

What careers and college majors would you consider if these were your interests?

Not sure if it's the same for other high school students but mine has us focus on self-awareness and college prep as part of curriculum outside of working with our guidance counselors. It's part of my english class. Something we have been working on is an essay about our career interests. I am a high school senior with several interests focused mainly on how our mind and body work. I like building relationships to understand and help others because empathy and compassion are my most important values. I enjoy meeting new people because it exposes me to different perspectives which I believe is important. I am very curious and enjoy research to understand people such as why they think a certain way and their motivations leading to my interest in psychology. I am an avid reader and enjoy forming relationships with the characters and storyline which also helps broaden my perspective and learn about people. I’d like to be able to encourage and help others understand themselves and build their self-confidence, particularly those who are misunderstood. I am also very detail and process-oriented meaning I like organizing, setting goals, and planning particularly for self-improvement. I’m good at science and math, which are my other favorite subjects because they allow me to solve problems requiring logic and order. Industries I am interested in are education, health care, and mental health
