I am a high school senior and am deciding on a major. I know I want to work as either a doctor or a surgeon but am not sure whether to study under biochemistry, microbiology, or something else.

I went back to school after raising children and starting/running a flooring store for 15 years. I know I love the field, especially in the eco friendly areas. I’m concerned at my age of investing in university costs. What jobs would realistically be available for me in Northern California?...

FBLA is a relatively smaller club at my school, and I've done fairly well in it, and it seems a bit easier than another club like, say, Speech and Debate. Does it have the same weight and gravity as other clubs on college apps?

I have consistently been receiving B's in AP Chemistry, and for future reference, is it better to take an Honors Course and receive an A, or an AP Course and receive a B? I know colleges love AP courses, but is it worth it to sacrifice hours in an AP class I am not particularly interested in...

In Germany, it is completely normal for students that have graduated school to go directly into a trade school instead of college; in fact, students can learn to be in IT through hands-on learning. In the US, most are encouraged to attend college for four or so years to get a degree before...
