I would greatly appreciate any guidance, tips, or general information on how to gain more traction in my job search and increase my chances of securing a position that aligns with my Health Care Compliance and Regulations degree. Thank you for your assistance. Do you have any advice, questions, or tips on how to overcome the challenges I am facing in my job search?
Background Information: I hold a bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Compliance and Regulations, and I am actively seeking a job that aligns with my educational background. Despite my strong qualifications and experience in the front and back office as a certified medical assistant, I am facing challenges in obtaining interviews due to the extensive experience requirements listed in most job listings. In addition to my medical assistant background, I have volunteered for over 700 hours in a prominent healthcare organization in the state, gaining valuable exposure to the healthcare industry. Moreover, I possess a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft suites, which has proven beneficial in various administrative and operational tasks. Furthermore, I have approximately six months of internship experience in my field of expertise. During my internship, I worked on several significant projects, including risk assessment and mitigation planning, policy and procedure development and management, and incident reporting and investigations. Despite my qualifications and experiences, I am encountering difficulty securing a role that aligns with my career goals and degree. I have participated in a few interviews, and while no negative feedback was provided, it became evident that my lack of experience compared to other applicants was a significant barrier. Volunteering is an option I am open to; however, the majority of opportunities available require commitments during standard business hours, which conflict with my current schedule.
