I am not planning to major in dance at university, but I still want to pursue hip-hop dance as one of my passions and as a side gig. What are some tips so that I can successfully network and break into the industry, considering I will not be able to do it full-time? I am currently considering moving to either NYC, London, or Seoul. Any advice related to this that is specific to any of these three cities is much appreciated as well.
How can I rebuild my career after a 3-year gap and transition into a stable field aligned with my Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering despite having 1 year of experience in a different industry?
Hello, I have done a bachelor's in electronic engineering in 2022 after I was forced to do a job in the petroleum field as a business development executive, which I left because of some personal reasons (TBH: I went into depression). Now I have been unemployed for the past 3 years and am confused about moving forward. How can I explain my 3-year gap to anyone hiring me?
I keep hearing experienced nurses say that starting with CNA training is one of the best ways to build a strong foundation for a successful nursing career.?
My CNA instructor at Sisucare said the same thing based on her own experience, but I’m still curious what others think. Why do you think so many nurses recommend becoming a CNA first? Has starting as a CNA actually helped your nursing journey (confidence, patient skills, getting hired, etc.)? If you could start over, would you still choose the CNA first route? I’d love to hear your experiences and any pros or cons you’ve noticed.

What is the best way to acquire a fully funded scholarship program abroad if you don't have rich relatives living abroad and you don't have a strong social and academic background??#
Hi! I am a psychometrician in my country but this professional title is undervalued to the point that many people with the same degree that I have are still unemployed or forced to work in a field that is not relevant to their professional license. That is why, I am looking for international scholarship opportunities that offers a masters program related to psychology. I am also in dire need of a kind mentor who can help me get out of my comfort zone because I am a bit shy in person. Thank you for this nice platform.

How can I improve my chances of getting a strong internship or job after a rough first year in college, now that I’ve started performing well academically?
Hi, I’m currently a sophomore in college. During my freshman year, I struggled academically because I had undiagnosed ADHD. I was only recently diagnosed and started medication, and since then my performance has completely changed for the first time in college, I’m earning all A’s.However, because of how poorly I did last year, my GPA is currently a 2.75. Even though I’m now academically on track, I feel really discouraged and worried that I may have ruined my chances of getting a strong internship for accounting or job in the future. Right now, I’m trying to be proactive. I’m using Modern States to teach myself financial and managerial accounting before I take the courses so I can earn A’s and raise my GPA. I’m also working on joining clubs and getting more involved on campus. For those who have been in a similar situation or have experience with recruiting, what else should I be doing to improve my chances? Is it still realistic for me to land a good internship if I continue improving?
What should I be doing in college to be preparing for my future?
I want to go to law school but I also want to travel and work for some non-profits and hopefully end up in some sort of environmental or international law.
Is Healthcare the right path and how to get employed in Healthcare (Orlando, FL)?
I'm dropping out of Mechanical Engineering to pursue a career in Healthcare. From what I've learned in this current landscape and job market, healthcare seems to be the last bastion of hope for job security and stability. I've landed on something administrative or business related, and not anything nursing adjacent, also since I wouldn't like to spend a lot of time in schooling. From what I've read, heard, and gathered tech healthcare careers are very competitive are hard to get and nursing is exhausting according to the ones I've talked to ( anyone correct me if I'm wrong, I would like to hear experiences and other perspectives). I'm thinking about doing Medical Office Specialist (MOS) since it seems specialized and quick, at least what Chatgpt can tell me lol. My universities resources for career advice aren't really helpful to me either. Anyone know what someone in this field needs to do get a job right after a certificate or degree completion? Do you need to go to job fairs, cold DM or calls? Do hospitals have programs or job placement after wards? Do I need a portfolio of experience? I have experience at a Health Center in medical billing and being a cashier for patients, if that helps. Does anyone know any better alternatives for my situation? What path did you go down and what would you say is best?

Is it a good idea to major in psychology and minor in either communication or philosophy What jobs can I get with it with and without going to grad school? And which university is better for it between Michigan State University and Grand Valley State University? ?
I am very interested in psychology. Also, I've been accepted into both the unis and I'm a first gen college student so I wanted to get some extra perspectives from experienced people on which would be a better option though I am leaning more towards MSU for now.

How can I ask dental offices in my area for a part-time office job as highschool/running start student??
I am aspiring to become a dental hygienist in the future and I would love more experience in a dental setting and maybe work as a front desk or a receptionist position as a high school student/running start. My schedule can be flexible as I am a running start student. I am wondering how I can reach out best and maximize my chances at getting hired or positive feedback from different offices. The dental hygiene program is extremely competitive so I would love to get a head start on doing as much as I can.
