I am 16 and writing a TV sitcom to make on my high school stage with sets, costumes, makeup and the lot. I am also the lead actor, the director and producing it. What should I do if I want to be an Art Director?

Currently, I am a sophomore in high school, and I'm not sure what to major in or how to go on in my high school career! To preface what i have so far...I have two years of TV production experience, and was the head of my schools prom commitee for traditional art. This upcoming year, I'll be historian for this organization that is involved with the city and for my class (ASB). Also, I'll be in my school's yearbook class for ADS and PR. This summer, I'll be taking a graphic design class at Otis college! Also, I'm not so sure what industry I want to work in yet, so I'm still trying to figure that out.

Any Medical Illustrators Available If so I have a question concerning some tips? If you were in my position now, what would you be doing knowing you will eventually pursue medical illustration? ?

I'm a high school junior currently taking classes in the health sciences pathway at my school and I was wondering what skills and habits I should at the very least put into practice now since I would like to pursue medical illustration later in life. Maybe even possible classes I should take in the future. I'm already into art and draw pretty much daily (though I don't practice realism as much as I should). I also love learning about the human body and how it works, even in my spare time. After high school, I would probably pursue a bachelor's degree in some sort of health science. I unfortunately can't pursue an art degree because of financial burdens. But I digress, if anyone is willing to provide insight just know I really appreciate it!

What major should you NOT go to college for?

Hello! As a college student in the middle of my career, I wanted to submit a question. What majors should students NOT go to college to study for? If you do list any majors: What do you recommend students do (instead) to pursue their career goals? I hope this question could help future students interested in jobs and help them make the most of their time after high school. I feel I went through a lot of indecision and stress over how to use my time after graduation. Let's start the conversation!

For Video Game Designer, what things would I need to do and accomplish to make myself as appealing as possible for hire at a professional company?

I, while having enough dedication and intelligence to go into other fields primarily medical, have always been interested in story telling, character creation and development, and interactive experiences just to name a few. As an avid gamer, reader, and watcher of movies, I really enjoy cohesive visions that involve all the different aspects of communicating a story to the audience. This industry however seems so difficult to get into and I don't know what to do or where to start so that I could break into it. I know that I would be an asset to any creative team having written pieces of fiction ever since I was young in addition to having studying gaming in my free time when I'm not busy with life or playing one. I want to best I can be and to work on a project is my greatest dream. Nothing would make me happier. #Gaming #Designer #videogamedesigner #videogames #creativity #storytelling #art #technology
