I am a college sophomore on the pre-med track.

I am currently in high school my junior year.

I would like to graduate med school with as little debt as possible. I currently plan on being a pediatrician, but I am open to learning and exploring different careers related to medicine, biology, chemistry, and science.

It would be nice to make money on the side while being in school. Getting experience from it is good too

People have told me that it's in the internships, it's in the patient contact hours you get, its in the experience... what is the best way to get in?

I'm largely considering becoming a pediatrician, but want to know if it's a right fit for me. The schooling seems daunting but I feel confident that I can get through it. What advice do you have or what do you wish you would have known going into the profession?
