FBLA is a relatively smaller club at my school, and I've done fairly well in it, and it seems a bit easier than another club like, say, Speech and Debate. Does it have the same weight and gravity as other clubs on college apps?

One of my biggest concerns regarding a career as a criminal profiler is that I will be unable to disconnect myself from my work once I go home. I imagine the stories and people you meet stay with you and unavoidably haunt you. I am afraid this will ultimately darken my view of life. How do you...

I am interested in pursuing a career in criminal profiling, however I know the burnout rates in a job such as this could be high. I have spent a lot of time researching this profession, but I wasn't able to find many answers about the emotional aspect of it. And the little exposure I have had...

In Germany, it is completely normal for students that have graduated school to go directly into a trade school instead of college; in fact, students can learn to be in IT through hands-on learning. In the US, most are encouraged to attend college for four or so years to get a degree before...

I'm trying to understand whether employers place a lot of emphasis on where a potential employee get their degree. I want to save money by transferring from a community college to a four-year, but I'm worried it may cheapen my profile when I start looking for a career. I have commonly heard the...
