What company is doing remotely work?

I'm a college student and I work in school, even though they don't pay me that good. It enough to buy some snacks and it helps me pay some part of my tuition. Since my University shutdown and we're doing online classes, I can't afford to pay the rest of my fall semester class. I'm looking for a job, that will be remotely or anything I can do to pay my school fees. #COVID19 #college #money #financial-planning #JOB #HELP #FOOD #REMOTELY #WORK #STUDENT #TUITION #technology #scholarship

I was accepted to a university that was my first choice on my list, but it is also the most expensive, should I accepted anyway and worry about cost later?

The university I was accepted to has a very good criminology department. Most colleges the first 2 years you take the basics than in the last 2 you do your major. But with this college, they start you out immediately with your major. My problem is they were also the most expensive one on my list. I am being raised by my grandmother who does not have the money to help with the cost. Yes, I qualified for financial aid. Haven't been awarded any scholarship yet. I'm worried I will never be able to afford to pay to go to this college, even though I really want to, torn on what to do and how to go about it. #money #solution #college #financial-planning #financial-aid

What are good gateway jobs/money making activities for a high schooler going into a degree for business if they wish to enter into the career of finance, accounting, or marketing (preference in finance).?

I'm a senior in high school who is unable to work anything other then remote due to family issues. I've been looking for jobs relating to what my career is for quite some time but I can't find anything worthwhile. I'm going to be basically by myself the moment I turn 18 and am in desperate need of assistance.

Any tips on saving for university?

Hi! I’m hoping to attend university in a few years and the financial burden of it all has been worrying me. I’m a high school student, and the only source of income in my family comes from my dad. I’ve spoken with my parents about plans for college and it seems that they expect me to at least partially rely on scholarships and financial aid to be able to afford an undergraduate education. I‘d be willing to take up a job or whatever other options there are for someone in my position. I know it’s a pretty vague question, but I’d really appreciate it if anyone would share how they managed their tuition fees. What would you recommend I look into so that I can avoid any serious debt in the future? What can I do throughout high school to take some of the stress off of my parents’ shoulders? Any general guidance would be very helpful! #college #financial-aid #scholarship #financial-planning #university #high-school

Will school tuition be less in the future?

School has become a business here in the US. I have seen other countries and University tuition is not high. They want people to go to school and be educated. In addition, I have noticed the quality of teaching material is better as well as teaching methods. Is that going to get any better?#college #college-tuition #financial-aid #financial-planning

Should I choose the job I love or the job that makes me money?

Looking back at my 16 years of life, I would have never thought I would have to choose between doing what I love and making money. As a little girl, I always dreamed of being a teacher. I looked up to the agents of change at my school and appreciated all of the things they do for me and the other students. For as long as I remember, I have gone to the local dollar store to buy teacher supplies to use to teach my "students" at home. I kept all of my old workbooks and homework from previous years to reteach lessons to the invisible kids sitting on my bedroom floor. (I don't know if that's creepy or not) As a first-generation U.S. citizen from the Philippines, my father has always disapproved my love for teaching. He would tell me that he didn't come to America to work his butt off and raise a child that would make a lower salary for the rest of her life than he makes now. I have to say, I am smarter than the average student. I get all A's and the occasionally B once in a while as a high school student. I am in the top 10% of my class and in my opinion, I could definitely get a high-paying job in the future. My father knows this and doesn't want me to waste my intellect on becoming a teacher. I understand where he is coming from and would tell my own kids the same, but I believe my true calling is becoming someone who inspires, molds, and teaches others to strive to be the best they can be. I will be a junior in high school in the upcoming school year, so I don't have much time before I will attend college. Please let me know what you think it is best to do and add in any experiences that you have had regarding this life-changing choice. #money #career-choice #future-careers #financial-risk #life-choice #financial-planning #career-details #personal-development

Which is more important when choosing a job: salary or work-life balance?

As a high school student, I have many needs and wants throughout the school year. Obviously, I would have to financially support myself if many of my desires are a bit pricey or my parents are no longer supporting me financially (other than food, shelter, etc.) Is it better to take up a part-time job that has a high salary, but would cause me to be stressed and/or too busy for me to maintain a proper social/school life? Or is it simply better for me to have a part-time job that isn't giving me that much money, but is still allowing me to freely juggle my work, school, and social life? Please give me your input and share any experiences that you had regarding a work-life balance during your high school years. #money #salary #work-life-balance #education-management #workflow-management #financial-planning

What's it like, money wise, to have an apartment?

During college, depending on which one I go to, I was thinking about getting my own apartment, something cheap for now until I save up more money than I do now. I want to have the feeling of living on my own, to try and see if I can handle it. #financial-planning #mortgage

How do you make enough money to save money?

One thing I realize is: People can make a lot of money yet they may not have enough left over to actually use on themselves. (even with six figure salary money) This can happen due to debt or necessary living expenses. (I totally get that) But the fact that someone making 250k a year can't use their hard earn money to live life is crazyyyy. 🤯 So my big question is: How do you make enough money to save money? Whether its for retirement, traveling to take time off, or something else. How could I, or someone else, do it?

Could a bubbly person thrive in financial/business planning and guidance?

I'm interested in math and helping people, so financial or business planning/guidance seems pretty cool, but I'm nervous about getting bored at work. I'm a bubbly people-person and love problem-solving. However, the idea of going into a career with so much paperwork and office work seems awful, but again, I love math and helping people. (I'm still in highschool, so this isn't a binding idea, just something I'm curious about!) Any thoughts on whether this wouldn't be a great career for lively people? I also am still struggling with confidence and am not awesome at being decisive and standing up for myself in front of other people. I can do that behind the scenes, though. If that makes sense!
