I am currently a sophomore in highschool and want to go into the engineering field. I am just wondering what I can do now to prepare myself for the future.

I'm a Junior in high school currently looking into a military career and I was wondering if I can join the army or any branch with a 504 would having a 72 on the AFQT(Armed Forces Qualification Test) help? I would like to clarify that according to DOD medical standards that I came across a 504...

I just finished 12th grade and Joined college, and I am looking for ways I can earn, even if it is through online freelancing.

I attend school most of the time and the only time I have is during the night.

What are some software skills I should be familiar with?
What are the most effective strategies for seeking a position in this field?

Can this program help me find careers that interest me or is it just to help me stay organized? I'm stuck on what I want to do with my life and I just don't know the purpoe of this site.

How hard is it to get into civil engineering? What parts of it should I try? How many years in college will it take to get there?

I've been thinking of being an architect, I consider myself a great drawer and am good with numbers. Ever since I was younger I had a pull towards creating or building something. I really find it exciting when you get pull those ideas and create a physical design of a model or building.

I would like to help my parents back. What can I learn from engineering that can help both myself and my family other than money?

Hi! Lately, I have been interested in the field of Architecture. Mostly because I really like math and also the art aspect of it. Yet, If I only end up getting the bachelors, what job(s) can I get out of it?

I want to start my path by being a mechanical engineer but I want to know how long it will take to learn everything

I've had my heart set on being an architect but I just want to know what I'm getting myself into.

I am interested in computer programing and engineering but I am not sure how to find a career that uses both, or what steps I should take to pursue it. Should I study engineering or computer science? How do I know which skills will be used the most in a career?

I'm curious to know if when you made the transition between the two was the change big. I especially want to know if you felt like the education you received properly prepared you for the change and if so, what about your education do you think prepared you the most for work.

I want to see if i want to do this as a job so i want to know what i need to study to do so.

I enjoy hands on work and enjoy designing and building stuff. I'm only in highschool and have been looking at some career options and a construction manager looked like something I might be into. I wanna know what I might need or be looking forward to if I was to go into this job.

Since I am a person who wishes to help people that are affected by natural disasters, what are some good places/resources to check out to gain experience in that field?

What would you recommend for me to go to a trades school for more education about welding , or to jump straight into the work force?

I would love to find a college that would offer both hands-on learning and out-of-the-book.
