What is the best way to study to ensure you don't get behind in school?

I am interested to learn helpful study habits and how to not spend your whole day studying! I am so excited for nursing school, but I don't want to lose time for myself.

I'm interested in going into social work but I am not sure If i should take a major in psychology or major in social work. Is there a main difference between the two?

I am currently in highschool and looking for what I want to do in my future is so much pressure and overwhelming. I just want more information on what these two majors have to offer.
