I would to know more about my career path

I am going to college in a couple of years, so I wanted to hear some suggested class that I should enroll in college to become an engineer.

What are major things I should know before starting to get into automotive. When I say this i'm asking what are the pros and cons to this field.

There are so many things we are told as young adults we have to follow, sometimes it sticks with us, but sometimes, it doesn't. What have you learned that's allowed you to keep going and find what you love doing?

The college I go to won’t let me transfer to their college of engineering so I can’t become a chemical engineer. My only other option is to major in chemistry? I don’t know if a degree in chemistry can get me a job as a cosmetic scientist.

I value a creative and fun job that keeps my mind going by learning new things, will this career path align with what I value?

How can I use my expertise in Chemistry for anything other than science? Being a teacher is a good thing, but I would like to go down a different path because I wouldn't say I like the prospect of being a teacher.
