I am female, interested in a career in the construction industry and looking to attend either Texas A&M or University of Texas at Tyler. I believe I am more interested in residential building than the industrial aspects. Which degree would be more beneficial to me? #construction...

While I want to be a copyeditor as my *day* job, I've written several novels I would love to publish sometime down the road (after much revision...). Every time I speak about this with someone, though, their immediate answer seems to be, "Ha! Good luck." My questions is... is it really that...

In the English language, there are so many different ways to use grammar, but there aren't any set rules on which ways are correct; it's more just a matter of belief (example: the Oxford comma). I realize that a particular university will teach their own beliefs about grammar, but I'm concerned...

I’m currently biology/pre-Med and I always wondering how do doctors stay motivated to stay in school so long. I know personally I have 15+ years of school including college but I was wondering how can I keep myself focused and motivated to continue. #medical-school #school #schooling

I’m an incoming freshmen in college and have always wanted to be a plastic surgeon. However, plastic surgeons have this stereotype of confirming all of their clients to a certain image and are in it for the money. How do you, as a surgeon, defend your occupation? #plasticsurgery #surgerons...

I've been told that being an RA can be a challenge, but I'm aware that every job benefits a person in some way. I'm wondering as to how an RA's duties can help me get through college other than the fact that an RA receives tuition coverage.

Ex's: studying for LSAT continuously, joining any pre-law organizations, meeting with law professors, meeting with lawyers, building a network, interning at appropriate organizations, etc. I am not sure which of these activities is worth while whereas others might just be a waste of time or a...

What jobs are there that would be good for an aspiring engineer to get their foot in the door while completing their undergraduate degree. It seems like lots of engineering jobs want experience so I want to get a head start if I can #career #college #university

I feel like we all have particular expectations when we go into a job and preconceived notions of what it will be like. What is something that you discovered going into engineering that was different than you expected?

My idea of career I want to do has been extremely vague. I love writing, get the best grade in math, and have an interest in psychology. However, I can never seem to narrow it down to what I want to do. And I'm terrified of the idea of choosing a major that I either don't enjoy or won't do...
