what is forensic physcology like as a career

I am a high schooler and i have always been very interested in trying to find out why people do the things they do, which is how I became interested in phycology. I like watching interviews and trying to analyze peoples behaviors throughout the scenes. I was wondering what it would be like to chose this specialty as a career. :) #career #physcology #careers #forensics #career-counseling #career-choice #career-path

I am a very kind and loving person. I believe the world can be a batter place with more loving people. I am open minded on whatever you think is right for me. I love to give back, give people love and care, and give someone a shoulder. I am also very creative and colorful. I am very hard headed and if I get something in my mind it is there. Should I take up astronomy

I have been thinking about joining the STEM community through Astronomy and Physics as a future career. From what I have heard It is a very competitive and difficult career to get. Being a scientist has been a recurring passion. It wasn't until a few days ago I have actually considered taking it up as a career. I have been doing lots of research about taking it up as a job, I even have asked some experts online about it. But then i got one response that said “if you are asking this question then you are probably not perfect for the job.” I have been debating with myself if this is a true statement. I have never been great at math even though i find some parts of it interesting, and I haven’t took physics yet. I feel like if I told people that knew me that I want to take this career they would laugh and tell me that there is no way I would succeed. I noticed when I am interested in something school related i do very well in it. Overall I just need to know if it is worth the effort trying to achieve a goal that seems impossible for a person like me. - Owen T #career #college #astronomy #career-counseling #STEM #physics

What are good career options if I am interested in both writing and "using my creative mind"?

I am a sophomore in high school looking for career options that not only let me use my creative mind but also don't limit me from doing more than one thing in life. I don't know exactly what I want to do, however I do know I want it to make people smile. I'm interested in writing, traveling, design, etc while some of my favorite classes include both English and Spanish. I'm a bit all over the place. Nurse Scientist

I posted a question earlier about nursing vs. medical laboratory science as I have an interest in both careers. I stumbled over this profession when I searched if there was any way I could combine nursing and laboratory science/ research. What does the typical day of work look like for a nurse scientist/nurse researcher? Do they get to dabble in both professions, or is it more so one track and strictly in research ? What are the school requirements for this career? #nursescientist #nurse #scientist #career #career-counseling

For anyone who has made a successful career change, what were the most important things you had to do, or what advice would you give others looking to do the same?

I'm a current college student, so I haven't officially started my career yet, but I'm extremely anxious about doing so, especially now that the pandemic has changed life as we know it. I've changed my career aspirations several times already, but now I'm nearing graduation and I'm still terrified that I'll wind up in a career I don't enjoy. Whether you ended up changing careers because you were dissatisfied or because you found better opportunities in another field, I'm really interested in hearing the experiences of professionals who have been in a situation like me. How did you overcome your worries, and what advice would you give to someone else? #career #career-counseling #careers #career-advice #future #career-options #college #college-student #graduation #career-change #career-switch #career-changes #career-switches #advice #july #july20 #scholarship

How do you know that the career you are pursuing, is the career that you actually want to pursue?

One of my biggest fears in life, is that I’m on the wrong track and that I won’t actually find out that I’m on the wrong track, until it’s the end of the road. At the moment I’m pursuing a degree in international business, but often feel like my heart is in digital communication and/or education. I’d like my career to fulfilling and meaningful and not just something I do to get by. #career #career-counseling #careers #career-path #career-choice #JULY20
