How to earn but also learn ?
I'm an IBDP student not the brightest of the bunch for reference I got a 26/42 in semester 2 currently in my summer break .Since I will be applying next year mainly abroad (USA,Spain) and want to pursue in Business / Entrepreneurship I want to create somewhat like a passion project that I can later expand in the future . But I have to start from zero with limited finance , no help and limited time to boost my grades but I am ready to give a good amount of my time into a project I can earn from to fund my college fees. I have tried different things like creating a website for people to chat through and failed also made a blog that also crashed and very demotivated since after posting online for more than a year to market these projects I have no users and limited followers .I just need advice and guidance from an experienced person to motivate and guide me to get into a good uni as well as help me path my future with a project with a good earning.
How can I pivot to a Master's in Bioinformatics if I failed high school Physics and must take a non-science Bachelor's degree?
I am an international student thinking of studying in Vietnam for my undergraduate degree, with the ultimate goal of pursuing a Master's in Bioinformatics later. My high school subject combination includes English, Biology, Chemistry, Physical Education, Artificial Intelligence, and Physics, but I completely failed my Physics exam. Because of this failure, traditional science and biotechnology undergraduate paths are entirely closed to me, even though my final high school certificate will officially show an overall passing status. I need to know which undergraduate courses are possible for me to take that completely bypass high school physics and core science eligibility requirements. Specifically, is it possible to switch from a non-science undergraduate major—like Information Technology or Computer Applications—into a computational biology or bioinformatics postgraduate program down the line, and how graduate admissions in Vietnam view a tech major who has high school biology credits but a failed physics grade?

Which degrees would you recommend for someone who's interested in Chemistry and the Beauty / Luxury Goods Industry (Cosmetics/Pharmaceuticals/Textiles...) ?
I'm applying for Chemical Engineering in uni - I’m choosing this path because I love chemistry and I want a degree that leads to a high earning career, specifically in the beauty and cosmetics industry (like L'Oréal, Estée Lauder, etc.). However, I've been told by current students that the math and physics are really hard, and I'm scared that I will drop out since I'm not the best at these subjects. Also, they claim that there isn't much chem in the degree anyway. I'm mainly choosing ChemE for the salary (as opposed to a regular chem degree), and for it being a 'general' engineering degree which allows for branching out into varying industries. I would like to work in a fun, sensory, and creative environment, collaborating with marketing and design teams, rather than sitting behind a computer doing stressful heavy simulation or structural modeling... Yet I feel like that's incompatible with the salaries I want. So which degree or studies would you recommend for me? Thanks!
Advice for a mature student part-time PhD?
Having previously finished my studies at Masters level and after spending a number of years in industry in operational technical roles, I've started doing more research work and found myself underqualified for research positions, having not originally completed a PhD. I'm fortunate that my employer has been able to support a part-time PhD to rectify this - however, as someone coming back into University as a part-time mature student, what change of mindset from my current industrial work approach do I need to be successful in a PhD and in research work?
What all should i lookafter while preparing my resume??
I'm a B.com graduate student, currently preparing for CMA USA exam
What do you do when you have so many interests?
When it comes to choosing your career, most people apply to the major they're interested in, right? So how do people usually deal with many interests like you wanna be an architect and a scientist and maybe do business. Do they choose one career path, stabilize it and many engage with other interests as side gig? Or what happens when, for example, you want to do something but it requires a lot of knowledge and you can only have time for one? Share your experiences! (Not personally experiencing this, but I will eventually)
Given my situation, what advice would you give me regarding career paths, pursuing a CPA, and making the most of my Finance degree while still using my accounting knowledge?
I am a senior and am currently switching from an Accounting major to a Finance major due to not meeting the requirements for four accounting classes by one grade. To add, my overall GPA is good and I am in honors. I decided to switch to Finance since it is the closest major in terms of credits. I feel very upset, but I think I can still pursue a CPA since I have taken some accounting classes. In my Financial Accounting class, I was taught how to create financial statements from scratch, and that is what I did for my final exam with no cheat sheets. I enjoyed and understood how to create financial statements. But now, knowing I can't pursue an Accounting degree, it really hurts. Given my interests in accounting, sustainability, environmental issues, and bioethics, are there any master's programs or career paths you would recommend that could combine these interests? I am particularly interested in learning whether there are STEM-designated graduate programs that would allow me to use my accounting and finance background while working in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, or bioethics-related fields.
Is AI silently ending human creativity?
Artificial Intelligence is growing rapidly every year. Today, I learned artificial intelligence could create HTML code to handle the front-end part of a website; way better than I ever could writing the code myself. This compels me that AI is the end of human creativity, because it produces tasks with superb quality without having to use critical thinking or creativity. I wanted to become a software developer, but now I feel I need to change careers because AI practically took my job. What is a job in the tech industry you feel AI couldn't conquer and take place over people?
How do I get refferals for Co-Ops and Internships I'm applying for?
What’s the best way for students to get referrals for co‑ops or internships? I’m trying to understand how the process usually works and what steps actually make a difference. I've already completed one Co-Op as a financial analyst at TJX, but did that without referrals or networking. Any advice from people who’ve been on either side of the referral process would be really helpful.
