How can I find biology research opportunities (particularly neuroscience) available to me given that I'm a high school student during the school year?
I'm an incoming junior with limited experience in the field, but I think it would be a wonderful experience to partake in research, whether of my own or of a professional. My only worry is with the timing complication (what with school and everything else).

I am in 12th now.. Well, i am totally blank about what i want to do after 12th. Should i go for neet or should i go for honors in botany? I don't know what to do. I'm an 18-year-old freshly out of high school. I'm not really sure about what I should pursue in college. My interests incline towards chemistry, biology, and psychology and I feel like I want to do something in the field of biology. But the thing is, in this field whatever I'm inclining toward seems like it wouldn't really help me with any placements and job opportunities, at least till I complete my master's in the course. Also, the earning also seems pretty low, specifically in India. I did think about going in the direction of med, but the competition seems way too high, and it feels very challenging so I'm not really sure about it. I was thinking about choosing between pharmacy and biotechnology, but in both cases, the placements and the opportunities seem to be lacking in India. What should I do? My mom used to work at a local nature center when in was younger and so I've always been interested in that kind of thing. I took biology last year and it re-ignited my interest in that field and I plan on taking local ecology next year.

Hi, I'm currently in my first week of college and I'm getting my associates in humanities. I really want this degree but I have figured out that I want to be a shark scientist. What classes t take or neuroscience / biomedical enginnering major ?
I am 16, currently in 10th grade. I have selected AP Micro, AP Stats, and AP Seminar for my 11th-grade year, and I have chosen Environmental Science as a science class. I had planned to take a business major but I am also conflicted as I want to take a neuroscience or biomedical engineering major as well. I have only previously taken biology and physics for my science classes and I am afraid I won't be qualified for these majors since I haven't taken enough science classes yet (such as Chemistry) and I'm already in my third year of highschool. Even so, I wouldn't be able to take AP Chem or AP Bio since I don't have chemistry as a prerequisite. Should I keep my 11th-grade classes the same or should I switch some/all of them out? What should I take in 12th grade? I also want to have AP Micro as an option in case of a back-up plan if I need to resort back to taking a Business major.

Why is the med-school ride necessary for ophthalmology?
I am a sophomore on a pre-med track at university and the uncertainty of med school scares me. I am certain of my desire for ophthalmology, but I worry that many years spent in med school will not be years spent learning about the eyes.
