Is forensic anthropology the right major for me?

Hi! I've always loved forensics and once I found forensic anthropology it seemed like a good route for me. After doing some more research I realized it requires some math skills, math is not one of my strong suits so I'm doubting my choice. What is it like to actually work with anthropology? For someone who struggles with math, would this be the right choice for me? Should I pick another major? These are questions that have been running through my head.

How do you find a lifelong career that you will love and be passionate about?

I'm still young, in my early twenties asking for advice or helpful insight on finding the right path for me. I'm currently enrolled in a Jobcorps Center and am pursuing Pharmacy technician and or other trade work training. I have several small interests that I enjoy but none that I feel confident building into a lifelong career. I graduated from high school during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, and I feel it's stunted my growth into a career. I'm interested in STEM, Language studies, Anatomy Physiology, forensics, Physical fitness, Chemistry, Woodworking, and Medicine. I'm artistic and investigative and wish to do a career that I find challenging and rewarding. I've traveled to Europe, Studied French in southern France, and interned as a sales associate in Ireland with a Designer Exchange Company; all of which were wonderful experiences but I'm unsure how to turn them into a career for my future. So how do I narrow down my interests into a career I will find fulfilling in my later life?

How much money does a forensic artist make and how much money does a toxicologist make?

I am in my last year of middle school and I am stuck between wanting to be an artist or a forensic artist or a toxicologist. My ideal job would be to be an artist and sell my work (if someone could give ways to sell art that would be much appreciated) but I have heard that artists do not make much money. My next two would be to be a forensic artist or a toxicologist. How much money do they make yearly and what would their schedule look like? I have greatly enjoy art and I have been told that my art is good, so going off of that with practice obviously I think I could sell my art.

Is a career path such as criminology worth it?

I’m currently a junior in high school and have always want to be a vet like a ton of kids when they’re younger. However, I recently started thinking about criminal psychology after watching “The Silence of the Lambs”. I just felt like that was something that I absolutely wanted to be. But I want to know if a path like criminal psychology, or even other careers in criminal justice/criminology are really worth it or not. Meaning: are they boring, interesting, emotional draining, etc.

How do I get into Food Forensics?

I have a B.S. in Forensic Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. I've spent the last year in Victim Advocacy. Now I'm considering switching careers up a little and getting into Food Forensics. I've been in a Health and Wellness program for a few months learning about food and I love it. I feel like Food Forensics would be an awesome job for me, but I don't know how to get into it. What education/skills do I need for this? Do you have any resources I can look at for continuing education and/or job requirements? Internship ideas would be awesome too. Thanks!
