My perfect day would include writing, art, teaching, community, yoga, and nature. My Ph.D. research has taken me around the world, and I've learned ancient wisdom and storytelling from tribal members, teachers, shamans, doctors, and artists. I have seventeen years in the print and media industry as a writer, editor, and magazine co-owner/publisher, and I've been an artist ever since I could hold a crayon.
