When going into college, is it fine to not have a clear idea of what you want to do?
I am only a sophomore in high school and I have a general gist of what I would like to do, but I am not really sure if I could decide when the time comes later. There's a few things I enjoy but I don't really know how classes will work for college exactly. I really like subjects like biology and computer science, but I don't really know if it is something I would enjoy for a career. I am worried I will commit to something I don't want to pursue anymore and waste time and money. It's also difficult to decide on a college for this reason.
My school district has shut down for an extra week in my area due to COVID-2019 which isn't a big deal. As a senior tho it is hard to think that they might cancel school. I've been hearing rumors and even seeing in some news articles the state of Texas might postpone school for the rest of the year 2019-2020. I'm worried about how that'll affect me not gonna lie. Whether colleges think I failed to what job I apply for in the future... Any tips or advice? Thanks in advanced!

As a non-religious person, should I exclude religiously affiliated colleges and universities from my college search?
Just a quick disclaimer: I do not mean to offend anyone in this post!! I respect your freedom of religion!! So, I do not follow any organized religion. I do not believe in a God or creationism, and I am not spiritual. I guess I can be categorized as a "nihilist." With that being said, I personally find myself uncomfortable when people talk about religion, or try to convince me to follow their religion. For religiously affiliated colleges, is this something that I should worry about. I know of some amazing colleges with amazing programs that I am interested in, but I am wary of the fact that the college is religiously affiliated. Any thoughts? #college #college-advice #college-bound #college-selection #religion
Is it advisable to take dual enrollment while I enter the senior year of high school?
My school doesn't offer many AP classes, and I'm trying to challenge myself academically. Is it advisable for me to take community college classes during my senior year, and how will it affect my college applications?
How do I build back my motivation?
At the beginning of the semester of college, I had much better habits and motivation. Alas, that didn't last very long. Now, I don't have any motivation. I'm constantly grasping concepts slower than my peers (I feel I'm behind in everything compared to my peers), I haven't done many extracurriculars because I bury myself in schoolwork and I run out of energy too fast, and I feel like I'm always going to be this forgettable person for the rest of my life (I'll never have any value). This semester has probably been the worst for my almost non-existent mental health. I feel lost. How can I feel "unlost"?
How do I choose what major / career if I'm interested in everything and nothing really stands out?
I was going to pursue law, but then acupuncture sounded interesting, but also com sci. I don't have experience in any of these three categories, so who knows? Maybe I won't like all of them. I'm applying to college soon, but I don't really have an idea of what I want to do so I'm kind of stuck. How did you guys choose your careers / majors?
Does it matter which college you go to?
I'm asking because I was accepted into my dream college but it is over $50,000 and I cannot afford that. I want to find somewhere cheaper, but I also want to try and make it into this school because I fell in love with it and it has a good accounting program. To simplify this, does it matter which college I end up choosing as long as it has a good program? #accounting #college-advice
