I'm applying for Chemical Engineering in uni - I’m choosing this path because I love chemistry and I want a degree that leads to a high earning career, specifically in the beauty and cosmetics industry (like L'Oréal, Estée Lauder, etc.). However, I've been told by current students that the math and physics are really hard, and I'm scared that I will drop out since I'm not the best at these subjects. Also, they claim that there isn't much chem in the degree anyway. I'm mainly choosing ChemE for the salary (as opposed to a regular chem degree), and for it being a 'general' engineering degree which allows for branching out into varying industries. I would like to work in a fun, sensory, and creative environment, collaborating with marketing and design teams, rather than sitting behind a computer doing stressful heavy simulation or structural modeling... Yet I feel like that's incompatible with the salaries I want. So which degree or studies would you recommend for me? Thanks!

Should i pursue- finance with accounting or economics or just straight finance?
I am a Year 13 student trying to decide whether I should pursue a degree in Finance & Accounting, Finance & Economics, or just Finance. I want a stable, decent-paying career, but I do not want anything too high stakes or high pressure like investment banking or trading. I am also not aiming to go to the very top 1% of universities. I have an interest in the legal side of things, but I know that career progression is generally easier to navigate in the finance sector. I am currently confused about whether to combine finance with accounting or economics. When it comes to finance, I am really drawn to the risk management side something that might be considered a bit boring, but pays well and offers good stability. On the other hand, I also really love the development and policy modules within economics. However, I want to avoid the heavy statistics side of the subject. Given these specific preferences, I am stuck on which option is the right pick for me.

I am lost. How to find alignment with what you want?
I have goals and dreams before graduation, and I should have a job offer. Here I am two weeks before graduation, in a rut. I have my ultimate dream internship. However, my experience was cut short since I moved to a remote setup. My goal for 4 years was to land an internship outside my province. I did it. And so what now? I feel hopeless. I am having trouble asking myself what I really want to do + time constraint... I want to do an MBA, but it seems impossible at the moment. I want to do a lot of things but still stuck of what feels true to me at the moment.

As a student who is highly involved in leadership, academics, athletics, music, service, and communication, and who is interested in careers ranging from biomedical engineering and pediatric healthcare to psychology, PR, and marketing, how can I strategically determine which path genuinely aligns with my strengths, personality, purpose, and long-term fulfillment rather than just achievement or external success What experiences, habits, skills, and personal qualities should I focus on developing now to discern whether I am better suited for highly analytical STEM-based careers, people-centered service careers, or creative leadership-focused careers, while also avoiding burnout, maintaining strong character and faith, and positioning myself for meaningful impact and future success??
I’m a driven and creative 8th grader at Founders Classical Academy of Rogers who loves leadership, music, sports, and faith. I serve as Secretary of NJHS, participate in student council and choir, and play volleyball. In the future, I hope to study Biomedical Engineering, pediatric nursing, pediatric psychology, or marketing. I also enjoy singing, songwriting, and reading.

How do UP CFA and DLSU-CSB compare in terms of creative facilities and global networking for an aspiring arts leader?
Hello! I am a Grade 11 student from the Philippines currently deciding on my undergraduate path. I have a strong background in the arts and a passion for leadership roles. While I originally considered Architecture for its perceived stability, I am now focusing on programs that better align with my creative strengths and career goals. I am specifically looking at: UP Diliman: BFA Visual Communication DLSU-College of Saint Benilde: Multimedia Arts or Creative Industries Management I come from a family of UP alumni, so the legacy of the university is important to me. However, I am very interested in the Creative Industries Management program at CSB because it seems to bridge the gap between artistic practice and leadership. My main questions are: How do the facilities and technological assets (studios, software, labs) compare between UP and Benilde for creative students? Which university offers a more robust networking pipeline for students planning to take a Master of Arts or work in the creative industry overseas? I want to ensure my choice provides the right balance of technical training and global opportunities. Thank you so much for your time and insights!
How do I make sure I don't burn out from maintaining my undergraduate agree and making time for myself?
I am currently a Law and Society major at my high school. I hope to pursue my interest in law/politics through my undergraduate degree. Throughout my academic career, I’ve taken classes such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure, and Forensic Science. Outside of the classroom, I’m a Rho Kappa member, Black Student Union Vice-President, and Senior Managing Editor at my school’s newspaper (The Survey). Though I've done a lot, I've found myself burnt out throughout the years due to the stress from maintaining my social and academic life at the same time. I'm enrolling in school and the fall and I worry about how I will manage taking on difficult courses while still having time for myself and my friends.

What kind of careers will a BA in Communication lead me to in the Philippines?
The search for my college course is still ongoing. That being said, my parents are now interfering and believe that I should take up communication arts which they think is ideal for me. Frankly, I do not want to study that but I'm at my wits end. Does the course require heavy creativity? Initially, my hesitation starts there since I don't think my creative vision is as strong as others. Also, I'm interested in knowing what kind of careers open up, the average salary or if it's in a lucrative range. I know that the field offers marketing/advertising/HR kind of jobs, but aside from working in an office is there also a chance to work from home? But anyways, that's all. Thanks:)
