College seems to be approaching really quickly and I'm feeling the pressure to get an internship. Unfortunately, I don't really have much on my resume, just a few varsity sports, clubs and volunteering. I feel like the things on my resume aren't really unique and don't make me stand out.

I'm choosing the path towards city college first as a safe option and plan on doing well enough to transfer to another college maybe being a UC

In the meantime, what should I do to prepare? I'm currently taking a "Survey of global cinema" class in community college.

I am a sophomore in high school and looking for a job that has good pay but also doesn't require long working hours.
