What's the most difficult concept to learn and master when it comes to Music Theory education, whether it be compositional, vocal or aural?

I am trying to find a website that is more exact then collegeboard. I know in highschool they tried to push me to using that but it just shows a million scholarships that may or may not pertain to you.

I am a Naval Aircrewman in the reserves and I am currently planning on doing two years at a community college for a Pro Pilot AAS, then transferring to a four year for my bachelors.

Essentially, what is the best way to get your foot in the door?
